Celebrate 4th of July with a 3-in-1 Smoothie!

Celebrate Independence Day the healthy way with this patriotic punch smoothie! Combining delicious flavors of strawberry, blueberry and vanilla, one sip will keep your taste buds begging for more.

Bonus! Super beneficial heath supplements, such as the ones by ProFunction, can be added into your smoothie to boost your way through the summer months. Try it and feel the difference!

Star Spangled Smoothie:

Ingredients:  (Makes 3 servings.)

Top Layer:

  • 1 cup Frozen Strawberries

  • 1 cup Almond (or your choice of) milk

  • 1 frozen banana

Middle Layer:

  • Strong + Youthful Vanilla Collagen-Based Protein (option: use GreenUp for a lemon-centered flavor rather than vanilla, and get your greens! Use according to directions.)

  • 1 cup Coconut (or your choice of) milk

  • 1 frozen banana

  • A few ice cubes

Bottom Layer:

  • Frozen Blueberries

  • 1 cup Almond (or your choice of) milk

  • 1 frozen banana

  • Dash of cinnamon

  • Teaspoon honey or maple syrup (optional)

  • Chia or Flax Seeds (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Blend the red ingredients. Taste and add a bit of honey if desired. Transfer to a glass, set in fridge, and rinse out blender.

  2. Blend white ingredients. Transfer to a glass, set in fridge, and rinse out blender.

  3. Blend blue ingredients, adding more milk if needed to reach a similar consistency as the other two smoothies.

  4. Pour blue smoothie evenly into 2 large or 3 small serving glasses. Gently and slowly pour or spoon in white smoothie, then red smoothie.

  5. Optionally garnish with shredded coconut and berries.

  6. Enjoy!
